PadoVGC’s winning team was built around a classic sun core with Charizard holding Charizardite Y and Venusaur using Life Orb with Chlorophyll. Charizard’s Heat Wave, Weather Ball, and Ancient Power gave it immediate spread and coverage pressure, while Venusaur added fast special offense through Sludge Bomb, Leaf Storm, and Earth Power.

The supporting cast gave the team several ways to control the pace of games. Incineroar with Sitrus Berry, Intimidate, Fake Out, and Parting Shot supplied standard positioning tools, helping Charizard and Venusaur get into favorable board states. Garchomp used Choice Scarf with Earthquake, Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, and Rock Slide, giving the team a fast physical attacker that could threaten spread damage or targeted Ground pressure.

The more distinctive pieces were Toxapex and Sylveon. Toxapex, with Leftovers, Regenerator, Infestation, Toxic, Wide Guard, and Baneful Bunker, gave the team a defensive axis and an important answer to spread-heavy positions. Sun remained a major presence: Charizard with Charizardite Y appeared on PadoVGC, Sela133VII, DaniVGC03, Gottkomplexe, and Mordeckay, often paired with Venusaur using Chlorophyll. Sneasler was another top-four staple, appearing on VioPhoenixVGC, SDGRyo, and Mysticat with Fake Out plus Fighting- and Poison-type attacks. Item-wise, Sitrus Berry, Focus Sash, Life Orb, and major Mega Stone choices like Charizardite Y, Scovillainite, Floettite, and Delphoxite helped define the top cuts.

For ladder players, the takeaway is simple: prepare for Charizard sun, Kingambit endgames, and fast Basculegion pressure, but do not ignore slower utility pieces like Toxapex, Sinistcha, and Incineroar.
