Igi2408βs winning team was a rain-centered composition with several direct pressure points. Pelipper carried Damp Rock with Drizzle, giving the team extended rain turns while also offering Hurricane, Wide Guard, Helping Hand, and Weather Ball. Basculegion β used Focus Sash and Swift Swim with Shadow Ball, Muddy Water, Protect, and Ice Beam, giving the team a fast rain attacker that could still function through a single hit.
Archaludon fit naturally next to Pelipper, using Leftovers and Stamina with Dragon Pulse, Electro Shot, Snarl, and Protect. In this structure, it gave the team a bulky special option that benefits from rain access to Electro Shot while also bringing Snarl for damage control. Raichu added Raichunite X, Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Feint, Volt Switch, and Volt Tackle, giving the team disruption, positioning, and protection-breaking support.
The two physical slots rounded out the build. Sneasler used Electric Seed and Unburden with Protect, Close Combat, Poison Jab, and Swords Dance, providing a setup threat that could snowball quickly. Golisopod used Golisopite, Emergency Exit, and an Adamant nature with Iron Head, Leech Life, Protect, and Sucker Punch, giving the team priority pressure and another durable attacker. The overall result was a rain team that did not rely only on Water-type offense; it could attack through Sneasler, Golisopod, Archaludon, and Raichu while Pelipper and Basculegion β anchored the weather plan.
Across the top standings, Sneasler was one of the clearest trends. It appeared on the first three teams, and also on IRNemesis and SeroSmurf. Electric Seed Unburden Sneasler was used by Igi2408, ponka, and IRNemesis, while viceuvgc used White Herb and SeroSmurf used Focus Sash.
Rain was also heavily represented. Igi2408, at0n, and IRNemesis all used Pelipper, and each paired it with multiple rain-friendly pieces. Archaludon with Leftovers, Stamina, Dragon Pulse, Snarl, Electro Shot, and Protect appeared on Igi2408, at0n, and IRNemesis. Golisopod with Golisopite also showed up on those same three teams.
Raichu was another repeated support pick, appearing on Igi2408, ponka, IRNemesis, and Vicburgos. The Raichunite X version with Lightning Rod, Fake Out, Feint, Volt Tackle, and Volt Switch was shared by Igi2408, ponka, and IRNemesis, while Vicburgos used Raichunite Y.
Takeaway for ladder players: prepare for Electric Seed Sneasler and rain cores built around Pelipper, Archaludon, Golisopod, Raichu, and Basculegion β.
